Adrian has a long history of helping build successful businesses into leaders within their industries. With over 20 years of experience in the application of wireless and barcode data-collection technologies, he is no stranger to the challenges of the retail inventory market.
Adrian and his wife have happily relocated to the Dallas area, and when not at work enjoys listening to his eclectic collection of music, adding to his wine cellar and keeping in touch with his family in the UK.
Gerry Mecca joined Datascan in February 2020 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Gerry is responsible for leading the product engineering teams and information technology organizations.
Prior to joining Datascan, Gerry spent nearly 20 years in the food and beverage industry and held a variety of IT leadership roles including, most recently, VP-IT for Keurig Dr Pepper. At Dr Pepper, he pioneered and lead the development of MyDay, an iOS and cloud-based mobile solution for field sales, delivery and merchandising. Gerry is an accomplished IT operations support expert, customer service advocate, technology innovator and Lean Six Sigma Champion. Prior to Keurig, Gerry held technology leadership roles at Cadbury Schweppes and Dr Pepper Seven Up Bottling Group, where he was Chief Information Officer. Collectively Gerry has over 30 years of technology experience having started his career at Ingram Micro and progressing through to computer peripheral manufacturer Applied Creative Technology and oil and gas producer Conoco Phillips.
Gerry was born in Pennsylvania and lived much of his youth in the northeast US before moving to Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Communications from Texas-Arlington and a Masters of Business Administration from Baylor University. Gerry is married with two children.
Steve has more than 20 years of Logistics, Operations and Transportation experience. Prior to joining Datascan, he was at Inogen, a medical device company, where he was the Head of Logistics and Transportation. While at Inogen, he grew the Logistics organization from a staff of 8 to roughly 60 in just over 2 years. Steve was able to streamline the packaging process along with developing long term partner relationships with multiple transportation carriers. In addition, Steve brings experience with a diverse focus ranging from Intel, Symbol Technologies, Motorola and Nokia / Microsoft.
Steve was born and raised in Oregon but has called Texas home for the last 16 years. Between him and his wife, Roxie, they have 1 daughter, Mia and lots of animals.
Zach grew up in Washington State and has lived all over the U.S. before moving to Texas. Zach enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and is a hobby beekeeper.
